What does your child learn at school each day?
At Anfield Road Primary we are dedicated to providing the children in our care with a rich, exciting and engaging curriculum that caters to the needs of all of our children.
At Anfield Road Primary school we believe that the early years of development are the most important, as this is when children are forming who they are as individuals.
Learning is based on the principles of respect, responsibility and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of the children. Creative learning and thinking is at the heart of everything we strive to achieve.
While almost every school has its own ethos and plan for the needs of pupils, this does not always affect the content of the curriculum. Whereas a rock group has its own recognisable sound, and an artist his or her own recognisable style, schools often end up looking very similar to each other. Our school has its own personal signature by using Drivers to enhance our curriculum. Our Drivers are Arts and Enterprise.

We have adopted the Kagan co-operative learning approach across school which has made a huge impact on our teaching and learning. Kagan offers children the opportunity to teach each other by working in teams, pairs or as a whole class.
