28/05/2021- So many Good to be Green postcards going home... who will receive them?
28/05/2021- A huge thank you to everyone who has followed our Instagram account. Strawberry Fields had the most followers out of all classes and earned 300 house points.
28/05/2021- Happy Belated Birthday Anfield, 135 💕
26/05/2021- We are celebrating our school’s birthday on Friday and will be rolling back to 2020 to celebrate all our special heroes.

Friday 14th May- We have been learning about Ramadan and Eid as part of our RE sessions. We learnt about beliefs and traditions and made Eid inspired crafts and had party food with our friends.

Monday 10th May- Our badminton tournament is heating up! Bring on round 3 🏸

Friday 26th March- A big thank you to everyone at Anfield Road Primary School. Every child, family member and our staff make it such a special place. We hope you all have a restful, safe and happy time making special memories at home.

Friday 26th March- Thank you to Clear Futures CIC for your amazing donation of 30 Easter Hampers for our school! We are so grateful 🐰 🥚 🐣
Friday 26th March- Today we had a lovely visit from the Easter Bunny 🐰 and Spring Chicken 🐥 Thank you to the L6 Centre for our amazing gifts.
Friday 26th March- We had a lovely last day of term assembly. We even had a surprise visitor... THE EASTER BUNNY 🐰 It was so lovely to come together as a whole school but we can’t wait until the day comes when we can all be in the same room.

Wednesday 24th March- Well done to our three talented finalists of the Poésíæ Recitation Competition 2021. The girls have worked extremely hard and we are very excited to see how we do! 🇪🇸

Tuesday 9th March- We loved launching our House System again with our House Zooms on Monday. We are so happy to have you all back in school. Well done Newsham House for winning last term, we hope you enjoy your house party!
Monday 8th March- We’re back together and we have never been happier! This sound of children chatting, playing and having fun has given us goosebumps. We love you all lots and have missed you so much.

Friday 5th March- As you know we decided to postpone our World Book Day celebrations to Friday 12th March so that we can have lots of fun together when you are all back at school. Come to school dressed as your favourite book character and get ready to be a judge in our first ever Anfield Road Masked Reader 📚🎭
Wednesday 24th February 2021- As you will be aware, this week the Prime Minister announced the reopening of schools. Anfield Road Primary will be open to all pupils on Monday 8th March 2021. Our initial plans indicate that we will run school in exactly the same way as before Christmas. This will mean same gates with staggered start and end times. The children will be in consistent bubbles all day. We will add updated information on the website early next week.
Friday 12th February 2021- This week we ended the half term on such a high when each class had a live video call with their teacher and all their friends. This was a huge success and the feedback has been fantastic, especially from the teachers who shared how much it lifted their spirits. Read some of our teacher comments below.
