As part of mental health week, Othello’s have been exploring their class text: Small things! We learnt that even small things can magnify and cause anxiety. We also learnt, how the power of kindness and acceptance can in helping reduce anxiety.
We’ve had a very creative start to our new English today. Over the next two weeks, we are going to be writing a dragon report so to spark our imagination we created our very own dragon eggs.

We took part in the Great British Birdwatch today, counting the birds in and around the allotment.
We’ve been drawing our Mantra Prayer plant today. We looked closely at the colours on the leaves and tried our best to sketch it out.
Tempests have been so excited with their new class plant today. We have a collection of names we have thought of and are ready to vote for our favourite tomorrow.
Here he is...let’s have a fanfare for our new class plant, Prince Charles II. Merchants had fun naming him and giving him a drink this afternoon.

It’s the launch of our Very Impressive Plant week and to start us off our gardeners delivered a very special guest to every classroom...their very own plant!

Yesterday we started off 2022 with our provocation day all about China. We created Chinese crafts, researched our name in Chinese symbols and learnt about our Zodiac animals. We found that our class were born in either the year of the tiger or the year of the rabbit.
