The Great Springy Spruce Up

Friday 12th March- Year 2 enjoyed their time in the allotment planting their flowers 🌺 

 

        

Friday 12th Match- Year 5 found new little friends enjoying the Great Springy Spruce Up. Check out the tiny frog 🐸. The robins were very brave and were almost eating out of Miss Roberts’ hand. We are so excited to see what else Spring will bring.

Thursday 11th March- Nursery loved getting stuck in to planting their seeds today. They can’t wait to watch their flowers grow. 🌸 

 

Thursday 11th March- More of our Eco Warriors tacking litter on the street. Mrs Drew-Williams, Mr G and Mr Lacy in on the action ♻️ 

 

      

Friday 12th March- Today we celebrated our Eco Warriors, who received certificates in recognition of going above and beyond this week.

 

 

  

Thursday 11th March- One of our amazing Braniacs has been busy at home creating information to encourage us to help make our planet a better place. Our children are real Eco Warriors!

 

  

Thursday 11th March- Our amazing Maisy wrote to Liverpool City Council to report a stinky problem on the streets surrounding our school. This was picked up by William Marratt, a local councillor who followed this up and confirmed that due to the action that Maisy had taken, dog fouling warnings will now be painted on the pavements around Anfield. Maisy, we are so proud of you and thank you for being so assertive and determined to make a difference.

Wednesday 10th March- This afternoon Year 6 planted seeds in class and look forward to watching them grow.

 

  

Tuesday 9th March- Well done to Leo and Peter getting involved at home. Leo enjoyed potting his flowers at home using his Grandad’s old fish bowl. Peter enjoyed planting flowers and potatoes with his Dad. 

 

      

 

 

Monday 8th March- All the staff have been volunteering their time to pick up litter in the streets around our school. 

      

 

    

Monday 8th March- We are so excited to get started! A huge thank you to Asda for your donations.
