02/07/2021-We are very happy with our walk to school badges!! Some of us even have all 3 πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Ÿ


21/06/2021-🚨🚨This afternoon in Masterminds, we worked closely with the NYPD to locate the whereabouts of King Kong🚨🚨. We used a range of maps and used our cardinal points of N, S, E and W to specify where they might find him. We are on duty tomorrow afternoon, tooπŸ˜‰!


11/06/2021- Prodigies have had a super afternoon celebrating @AnfieldStanleyH winning the house points for last half term πŸ‘πŸΌπŸŽ‰ We have played some games and eaten some cake! πŸŽ‚


07/06/2021- We have enjoyed looking at the Titanic so far this morning! We talked about why people would want to go to America 🚒


28/05/2021- We had a fantastic day celebrating our school’s birthday today! Look at all our super costumes! πŸŽ‚βœ¨πŸŽ‰


28/05/2021- We are thrilled with our new Harry Potter jigsaws! Teamwork makes the dream work πŸ˜πŸ§™πŸ»‍β™€οΈπŸ§™πŸ»‍♂️


28/05/2021- We couldn’t believe the similarities between life in 1940 and 2020! We wrote our own letters to pupils of the future telling them all about life in 2021!


28/06/2021- Some super key worker costumes in Brainiacs today! We are so grateful to all of our everyday heroes 🦸‍♀️ #notallheroeswearcapes


27/06/2021- We have been building frames for our ‘Suprised!’ inspired paintings this week. We carefully planned our products and thought about different ways we could get them to stand! Don’t they look fantastic! πŸ‘πŸΌ


28/05/2021- Some fantasitc and beautifully presented reports on minibeasts this week in Masterminds. Very impressed!! 🀩


Thursday 20th May- A massive well done to these two girls in Masterminds. We have been learning about mini-beasts in English, in order to write a non- chronological report. The girls chatted on the phone last night while researching more about mini beasts! They earned 20 HP!


Thursday 20th May- So much fun in the sun playing basketball πŸ€ We focused on spatial awareness. 


Thursday 20th May- We have been using sketching to recreate some Henri Rousseau paintings. 


Wednesday 19th May- This afternoon Prodigies have been exploring Rousseau’s ‘Surprised!’ We created our own green colour palette and then recreated a section of the painting using different techniques 🎨 


Tuesday 19th May- Prodigies’ eco systems have grown so much in the last two weeks! We have got kidney beans, cress and lovely green grass growing in our classroom. 🌱 


Friday 14th May- Our classmates taught us all about Ramadan and Eid this afternoon. We learnt so much and had a great time celebrating together. 


Tuesday 11th May- Our exploration of algorithms continued this afternoon. We discussed the importance of accurate and sequential instructions. It was a fantastic afternoon that required teamwork and a lot of trial and error. 


Tuesday 11th May- Well done Masterminds for taking part in our screen-free week. 



Monday 10th May- This afternoon in computing we looked at algorithms and how we could create our own to make own video game, similar to Pac-Man. 


Tuesday 4th May- Having made our own ecosystems on Friday, it was great to return to school today to see how well they have already grown. 



Tuesday 4th May- Today for our Learning Challenge we identified which animals are endangered, where in the world they are located and why they are endangered in the first place. A lot of great team work this afternoon. 


Monday 3rd May- Prodigies spent some time making their own eco systems this afternoon. We can’t wait to see how the seeds grow. 



Thursday 29th April- Another PE lesson spent developing our basketball skills. We reflected on our chest pass and bounce pass, as well as worked on our dribbling and shooting. We will be ready for a game in no time πŸ€ 


Wednesday 29th April- A competitive Times Table Rock Stars session today in Masterminds. Make sure you log in tonight to try to get to the top of the leader board, ready for our house/year group battles on Friday. 🎸 


Thursday 22nd April- To celebrate Earth Day 🌎, Prodigies have been painting some old newspapers and writing poems about the impact that human beings are having based on ‘Leave the whales alone, please.’ They are absolutely gorgeous and Miss Riley is very proud!

Thursday 22nd April- We have learnt so much about classifying animals this week. We are now experts on vertebrates and invertebrates. πŸ’ 🐍 🐟 πŸ¦€ 


Wednesday 21st April- Masterminds had a fantastic PE lesson today, working on our dribbling skills. We played lots of games that require us to use our new skills. 


Friday 26th March- We absolutely loved seeing everyone on Zoom this morning for our Easter assembly. We spotted our brothers and sisters and also saw a very special visitor 🐰

Wednesday 24th March- We did it πŸŽ‰ Masterminds worked fantastically well as a team this half term and have managed to earn enough ‘Gems in the Jar’ to enjoy their treat on Friday! 


Monday 22nd March- We have had a very interesting afternoon in Prodigies! We have found out all about the water cycle and set up our own in our classroom. We can’t wait to see the results tomorrow. ☁️ β˜€οΈ πŸ’¦ 



Monday 22nd March- Today we made our own representation of the water cycle. We have made our predictions and look forward to seeing the process over the next few days.πŸ’§ 



Wednesday 17th March- Today’s PE lesson required us to work in pairs to create different balancing positions. Some were much harder than they looked! We look forward to adding these alongside our gymnastic positions to create our very own short sequence 🀸 



Friday 12th March- What a fantastic day for World Book Day! πŸ“š 



Thursday 11th March- Prodigies have been looking at the Great Plague and the Great Fire of London this week. We are investigating a connection between the fire and the end of the plague πŸ•΅οΈ. 


Tuesday 9th March- Today we used our Virtual- Tee to explore our body’s important organs such as the heart. We even used it to take a tour of our veins and arteries. We then created an information booklet to share the facts that we had learnt. 


Monday 8th March- We are extremely happy to be back! 🎊
