Thank you for visiting the school’s website and showing an interest in our lovely school.  

We believe Anfield Road Primary School is a special place to learn and work.  We like to think we do things a little bit differently from other primary schools, ensuring all our children receive the very best education, care and experiences during their time at Anfield Road.

Our Victorian school with its distinctive bell tower has been serving the community of Anfield for over 130 years. We have the highest expectations for our children and their families and we all aim high together. 

Anfield Road Primary School is a global community with families from all around the world.  Families who join our school from overseas and other areas of the United Kingdom are soon classed as honoury scousers and made to feel very welcome.  We are proud of the beautiful cultural diversity of our school, which makes it a wonderfully vibrant place to attend and learn. 

Our children and their families always come first.  Staff are prepared and expected to go the extra mile, which ensures all children have as many memorable experiences as possible during their time at Anfield Road.

We are fortunate to live and work in the amazing city of Liverpool, with its wealth of cultural experiences and heritage. Our school curriculum promotes the diversity of the city and encourages the children to be proud of the city they live in. We’re all happy to call ourselves “Scouse and Proud.”

We love our children and they love us back, resulting in a school with happy, confident and respectful children.
