The Great Springy Spruce Up

The Great Anfield Springy Spruce Up!

Monday 8th March- Friday 12th March 2021

Our latest Eco Challenge will take place from Monday 8th- Friday 12th March and the aim of this wonderful community project is to bring Spring alive along the streets of Anfield Road. Children, staff and neighbours are working together to clear the streets of litter and plant plants and flowers around the neighbourhood and school.

Each class will also spend time in the allotment to sow seeds and nurture plants which will be planted in the year group beds. Stay tuned for lots of springy action! 🌺🌸🌼🪴

Friday 12th March- Today we celebrated our Eco Warriors who received certificates in recognition of their hard work this week.

Thursday 11th March- One of our amazing Braniacs has been busy at home creating information to encourage us to help make our planet a better place. Our Children are real Eco Warriors!

Thursday 11th March- Our amazing Maisy wrote to Liverpool Council to report a stinky problem on the streets surrounding our school. This was picked up by William Marratt, a local councillor who followed this up and confirmed due to the action that Maisy had taken, dog fouling warnings will now be painted on the pavements around Anfield. Maisy we are so proud of you and thank you for your hard work!

Our amazing families have been getting involved at home. Well done, we are so proud of you!
