In Year 2 we offer a curriculum which is broad and balanced and which builds on the knowledge, understanding and

skills of all children. We aim to do this by allowing our children to be independent learners with greater involvement in their work, where they can reach their full potential. Our Learning challenge curriculum is filled with rich first-hand purposeful experiences, which are responsive to individual needs and interests.        

 

Our Curriculum is driven by two main elements, Enterprise and Creative Arts. Each half term the children in Year 2 work towards achieving something for either themselves or the benefit of others. 

 

Throughout the year each  Enterprise will have its own theme, these are:

An Arts sale, a performance for family and friends, photography exhibit, computing focus, a buddy exchange and raise money for a charity.
