Liverpool Maritime Museum 

The Merseyside Maritime Museum is a museum in Liverpool and is location in the Albert Dock. The museum reflects the international important of Liverpool as a gateway to the world. This includes its role in the Transatlantic Slave Trade and Emigration, the Merchant Navy and the RMS Titanic,

A visit to the Merseyside Maritime Museum is fun on a variety of levels. The sea Urchins Drop in Play Area (which can be found on the first floor) offers a nautically themed dress up bos, kids’ books, hands on activities and activity sheets, all in a pleasant atmosphere specifically aimed at the under 5s and their families. 

The Seized! Exhibition features a Custom Officer’s Trail with character Matt, to help keep kids interested and involved, there is also a selection of varying live performances on offer, on subjects such as pirates! 

There are baby changing facilities and the restaurant has a dedicated children’s menu on offer. You can download and home print a Family Guide too, which will tell you all the up and coming events aimed at children!
